Awards & Honours
India Vision Institute is the recipient of numerous awards and recognition for our work in primary eye care services in the country.
IVI's CEO and Managing Trustee Vinod Daniel has also won accolades and awards for his work with IVI and for contributions to preserving and developing museums in some 50 countries across the world. Among the several awards and recognitions, he has been honored with, includes the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) in 2023.

EyeTeach
"EyeTeach: Education Design for Learning” is designed for optometry educators and practitioners who are keen on advancing their teaching skills and understanding the pivotal role of problem-based learning in student engagement and professional preparation. The program will comprise four, two-day intensive workshops to equip participants with practical insights and strategies to effectively engage students, foster critical thinking, and facilitate research dissemination in teaching.

Visual Ergonomics Series
Awareness on ergonomics and visual hygiene is explained through a series of sessions to the corporate IT professionals who have sedentary lifestyle. This program might be in partnership with Essilor. In addition, the employees could be screened for refractive errors and prescribed glasses with glasses (with Essilor lenses if partnered). This would highly benefit the employee to understand the basics of ergonomics lectures, case studies, question and answer session to engage the participants

Young Leaders Program
For eye care professionals who have a strong motivation to take up a leadership role in the near future or are aspiring to move ahead in their careers. Providing a holistic view of the eye care scenario in India and worldwide, it will help develop leadership skills, enhance career prospects and provide mentorship and networking opportunities to selected participants. Over the years, we have developed a pool of 80 young eye care leaders across India.
