An Optometrist at IVI gets to do comprehensive eye screenings and vision examination of patients, including refraction, prescribing spectacles, detection and diagnosing ocular diseases, and referring for appropriate eye care management.
​
Optometrists at IVI are also offered a chance in education, research and development areas in Ophthalmology and related fields through regular interactions with industry professionals and specialists, conduct workshops and knowledge sharing sessions for the student community and healthcare professionals.
​
Professionals with a non-optometry background are considered for roles in program coordination, counselling, fundraising, outreach activities and backend support.
