Vision impairment leaves people virtually disabled. What is worse is many are not aware that they have a problem or that all it takes is an eye check and a pair of glasses to see clearly. 

 

IVI steps in to provide access to free vision screenings and a pair of spectacles to those in need among urban poor and rural Indians. We also refer people with conditions such as cataract, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy to partner hospitals for further treatment.

In a little over a decade since we began work, IVI has transformed 1.6 million lives in 24 states.​
