The fortunate among us are able to see and perceive everything around us - from the hustle and bustle of cities to the tranquil life of our rural areas. Thanks to a pair of  eyes, we can see and perceive everything around us, and experience life in all its splendour.

 

But many who are less fortunate, and lead life without the gift of sight or with visual impairment, it is one big struggle.

 

Vision impairment leaves people virtually handicapped. What is worse is many are not aware that they have a problem. Or that all it takes is an eye check and a pair of glasses to see well.

In a little over a decade since we began work, IVI has transformed more than 1 million lives in 23 states.

 

Clear and healthy vision ought to be everyone's right, and none should be left behind. That's why we intervene, offer free vision screenings and refer people with conditions such as cataract, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy for further treatment.
