India Vision Institute led 'Walk in the Dark' at the historic Victoria Memorial in Kolkata was a resounding success with around 550 participants. The march was flagged off by Australia's High Commissioner Harinder Sidhu. Several prominent citizens, including Victoria Memorial Hall Secretary and Curator Dr Jayanta Sengupta, Essilor India COO Ramachandran P, IVI CEO Vinod Daniel, AllSport Foundation Chairman Srenik Sett, Gurbux Singh, Victor Banerjee and Shanu Nag among others, participated in the campaign. Carrying placards and slogans, the march alongside the museum was led by visually impaired students from the Blind Boys' Academy of Ramakrishna Ashram. IVI also gratefully acknowledges the support of Essilor-Kolkata and Vision Rx, for assisting with the turnout at the Walk.
