participated in the Times Education Boutique (TEB) in Pune on 12-13 April,
Chennai on 4-5 May, and Kolkata on 17-18 May 2014. The Career and Education
Exhibition provided a platform for direct interaction between educational
institutes, academicians and students.
Representatives
of Optometry departments from Vasan Optometry College, Shri Prakash Institute
of Optometry, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences &
Research Institute , Bejan Singh Institute of Optometry, Nagerkoil, from
Chennai; Vidyasagar College of Optometry and Vision Science, NSHM Knowledge
Campus from Kolkata and College of Optometry, Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical
college, Dr DY Patil Institute of Optometry and Visual Sciences, Pune,
interacted with prospective students and parents to discuss available options
for pursuing optometry as a career.
