FSP with LVPEI - Round I - Low Vision
The second batch of the IVI Faculty Support Program in collaboration with LVPEI was conducted in ‘Low Vision’ from 14-26 September 2015 at LVPEI-KAR campus.
Ms Graceciabell Sna - Faculty, Bansara Eye Care Centre, Shillong attended the 13 day program facilitated by Dr PremNandhini Satgunam - Associate Research Optometrist, L V Prasad Eye Institute.
The program agenda included curriculum scheming, assessment patterns, possibility for research in low vision for faculty as well as students and much more. It also covered a range of topics from an academic perspective in low vision identifying the available resources, lecture delivery methods and observation and various evaluation patterns.
The program had been awarded 20 CE points by the Optometry Council of India.
IVI acknowledges the support of 'Brien Holden Vision Institute Foundation' and 'Optometry Giving Sight' in funding the program.
