Summer Internship 2016 -2017
IVI organized a one month summer internship program for undergraduate optometry students from 1 June 2016. Four students were selected for this year’s internship.
Ms Anuhya Nalluri – University of Hyderabad and Ms Shweta Sharma – Amity University were posted at the Hyderabad office, while Mr D Vishnupriyan – Shri Prakash College of Optometry and Mr N. Johnson Singh – Bansara Institute of Ophthalmic Sciences were posted at the Chennai office.
The interns worked on several projects including tasks such as literature search, questionnaire design, conducting surveys, and data collection and analysis. They also assisted in vision screening programs.
The program gave the students a new learning experience that will help them greatly on both personal and professional fronts. All the students were awarded certificates and IVI Mementos along with the declared stipend.
