ICEE EyeTeach© workshop series was designed to address a range of
subjects of interest to optometry educators including, makings of a worthwhile
learning experience for students, different learning styles, teaching,
constructive alignment and learning cycle, introduction and preparation for
teaching techniques and ways to encourage research skills in students.
The Brien Holden Vision Institute Foundation
(formerly ICEE) in collaboration with IVI, held a two-day EyeTeach workshop led
by Mr Larry Hulbert & Ms Nina Tahhan. Held on 18 – 19 October 2011, the
workshop was attended by over twenty optometry educators.
