Session III - Quality Assurance and Regulatory Bodies in India
The third session of the IVI Online Series for Institutional Development was conducted on Thursday 16 July 2015. Focusing on development of ‘Optometry ‘as a profession in India and how to follow the growth factors, the session was facilitated by Ms Lakshmi Shinde- CEO, Optometry Council of India (OCI).
Ms Shinde also explained what OCI stands for and explained the importance of registering with OCI. Attended by ten optometry school heads, the session came to a close with a discussion round and Ms Shinde explaining the process of getting registered.
