Focusing on the importance of following uniform optometry curriculum in institutions across the country, the second session in the IVI Online Series for Institutional Development was conducted on 29 January 2015.

Facilitated by Dr Luigi Bilotto, Director, Global Human Resource Development, Brien Holden Vision Institute, optometry school heads from eleven schools attended the session.

The major take away from the session was the need for uniform optometry curriculum in colleges across the country. The participants also learnt about ASCO’s Common Minimum Optometry Curriculum (CMOC) in relation to global standards.
