IVI online discussion forum provides answers to Optometry students on Overseas Education

An IVI online discussion session on ‘Optometry Education Overseas’ on 27 May evoked an
enthusiastic response from students.
Some 100 students from across India took part in the panel discussion on Zoom platform. It
was also live streamed on YouTube where it received 560 views. Questions were posed by
participants both on the Zoom platform as well as by those watching YouTube.

right mentor, preparing for university processes, and benefits of an international exposure.”
“The session also discussed competency of the educational systems and the graduates,
scope of practice and research, as well as support grants and scholarships,” added Mr
Daniel.
